need supplies....perforated mesh and LED's

What im doing is i am removing the turn signals and all of the openings on the front of my car are being meshed off.

This brings me to my needs. I need somewhere to get automotive use LED's. I am hoping to have a small low profile led to replace the turn signals because i need the openings for the turn signals. This basically means where can i get automotive yellow LED's....

Also in terms of covering off the holes where can i get mesh? I am looking for perforated mesh not stretched (perforated they stamp the holes out, stretched they make little cuts in the metal and just stretch it out). I need some mesh like this in black does anyone know where i can get it?

Axle/Gears: ones that turn.
As long as you use the proper resistor or voltage regulator, you could use any LED. There are several different yellow, orange, and amber colored LED's available. 5mm is a very common size to use.
Keep in mind, the front turn/marker lights have two filaments, so you'll need two seperate circuits of LED's to keep it legal.
You could wire one set of six or seven in series and space them out around the opening to simulate the marker light. Then you could add two more similar sets to act as the blinker lights.
You could even mix and match different brightness levels, say, 5000 mcd for the marker and 8000 to 10,000 mcd for the turn indicators.
Yellow will be the brightest of the 3 colors available, with about twice the brightness rating of orange and amber.

okay im not sure if you ment by turn indicator the side markers i dont plan on touching those, just the main turn signals on the very front of the car, i need the openings because i want to run air cooled front brakes (i know it wont do much of anything but im getting a new front bumper cover so im thinking why not....DONT TRY TO TALK ME OUT OF IT )

All of that is very good info though i think im okay as far as the LED's go. Anyone know where you can get perforated/stamped mesh in southern ontario.
