Geez and I though Smiths Falls was pretty much the **** end of the world, thanks for taking us off the list :-) Those were probably Philly hockey players heading home, poor millionaires...

Good thing I wasn't driving the IROC, I would have never gotten the pics, the IROC slows down for nobody unless they're in a black & white car with blinky blink lights on top!

Re: My project has begun....
Spotted this beauty in Smith's Falls today! I popped a woodie!
Sales lady didn't know what they were going to ask for it but I imagine it'll be pricey! The car is just immaculate and all original. That's my ole' clunker in the background.
They also had this beast, tubbed out, roll cage, rigged for racing. I was afraid to ask the price.

Re: My project has begun....
Oh noooo!!! that sucks, I hope it's nothing too serious,...summer might be over..but this is the time of year the 'ol cars like it up here in Canada, [nice cool weather to keep the motor cooler so we can "cruise" longer]. Not a bad jaunt though,..without major incident... how many miles, ["km.'s"], did you manage to get under your belt since first getting the "Z" on the road, until this unfortunate incident? *Oh,..on a seperate note,.. I just bought a bone white, 2001 Dodge Ram 1500-4x4 Quad-Cab/short box for the upcoming winter work season,...[comes with brand new rubber..and an extra set of 35" boots as well!]. I managed to wrangle a new job starting the end of November,...driving a white "2008 Sterling" conventional cab rig w/sleeper,..pulling a 40' end dump trailer. I'll be getting loaded at a local sand pit, about 40km.'s, [25-miles], out the highway,..then bringing the load back to the yard where sand trucks will get loaded to go spread over the local roads. Nice peaceful "own-office" job....straight "midnights"!! though.

Well now you & Mrs. Knotty won't be out in the elements like you were for most of the Camaro fix!!! Going to use some type of heat, or is it for storage til spring??

Just storage till spring. Maybe a lil' tinkering but not much. Have to go into big time money saving mode for the boat building supplies we'll need in the spring. Not everyday you have to go shopping for 40 gallons of epoxy eh?

Re: My project has begun....
Yeah about a month or so ago. Had to make room for the boat building project I started. And if it doesn't quit raining I'm going to need the boat in a hurry!

Knottybuoyz:... So,.. how are you Rick? I just read about your dilemna last fall,.. find out yet what ails the Camaro? ... what a way to end the season.. worrying/speculating ALL winter on what happened to your ride. So,.. It's about time to get your "boat" project started eh? Well.. here's a picture of what I worked for this winter/spring: I'm flying down to Sudbury next month, (with my final payment),.. and driving my new truck back home to Thunder Bay. *[maybe I'll pop in for coffee..LOL..].

Re: My project has begun....
Heya Dodgy. Nice to see you survived 'nuther winter. Sudbury is still quite a ways away from here so don't put yourself out.
That's a nice lookin' truck. Should serve you well. I'm a Jeep guy myself.
I started putting the boat together about a month ago. It's still just pieces of a puzzle but the pieces are getting bigger. This is one half of the bottom panels.
With the modifications I'm making it'll be 31'10" long. Too big for me to handle alone so I have to do them in two parts. If all goes according to plan, in two years or so, we'll have a boat that looks something like this (I hope)!
