305 runs like crap, opinions
A friend of mine I've been helping went to the track with us this weekend. Car is an 87GTA auto, 305 with a crane 214/220 HR cam, about .480 lift with the 1.6 rockers he's using, SLP runners, TPIS 52mm TB, SLP 1 5/8 headers and 22# injectors.
The car ran like a 15.8 or something like that. It's extreamly rich, we put a scanner on it and his BLM's were locked at 108, backed the FP down as low as it would go and still no effect, BLM's still stuck at 108 and way rich. Without a customer chip should he switch back to the 19LB injectors? I think that is where the problem is at. He will be getting a chip burned in the future though

You can't just put 22# injectors on a 19# stock car and expect it to run well. That has to be corrected in the prom. There are another million things that could be wrong, but I'm sure a custom chip will really be a great start.

Car: 1987 IROC-Z28
Engine: 383 Vortec - carb
Transmission: T56 - 6speed
I had almost that exact set-up.
almost exact cam
slp runners
aluminum ported L98
ported base and plenum
etc...
I was too rich with my 19# injectors at 48-50PSI.
I had to run at 43-44 PSI to get it back into check. I think it'd be a good idea to swap the 19#'ers back in and see what it does.
