TPS, IAC...what are they?!URGENT!!!

I have searched and searched and searched some more about these things....I am trying to find out why my car feels as though it wants to stall out when I give it full throttle....it goes then bogs and goes and bogs....its never ending...unless I am at regular driving in traffic it wont....if I am at a stop and tap the throttle too hard it bogs...would the TPS do this? and what does the ignition control module do? and what happens if it is bad? also I got a code 24...the VSS...could this cause my problem? I really need help...tomorrow I am changing out the wires again! because one of them looks burned and cracked..could this cause my problem? maybe right..so I am doing a basic tune up again! and going to set the base timing at 8* how do I do that? and fuel filter is going to be replaced...this all started happening after I got my car back from gettin a new alternator, starter and battery....AARON PLEASE HELP!!!!!

sounds like something the TPS could cause. If it is, its a real easy fix, go here

TPS adjustment

and that'll show you how to properly adjust the TPS and IAC for your needs. keep us updated
