My wife is going to kill me!!!

All right guys, I need a huge favor to keep me out of the dog house. The wife's car ('86 IROC TPI 305 Auto) has been having trouble and I started fixing it. Many things were wrong and I ended up pulling everything, including the intake. One of the things I noticed while putting it back together tonight was that the EGR solonoid has what appears to be 3 vacuum connections and a wiring harness. I disconnected the wiring harness and two of the vacuum lines, but there was never a third. This motor was R&R'd by a local shop (marginal reputation) right before I took ownership, so I doubt it was ever hooked back up. The metal W-shaped clip is still on the port on the solonoid, and it doesn't look like the hose could have come off on its own. I need to know what it looks like and where it goes. Can I just run it to a new vacuum source? As the solonoid is mounted on the car, the electrical connector is to the outside and the two-pack vacuum lines are to the front (one goes to the EGR valve and the other to the front port of the two on the back of the pplenum. The solonoid has what appears to be a third vacuum port directly opposite the two-pack coming out what would be the back of the solonoid. Is this a hard (plastic) or soft (rubber) line? Where does it lead to? The guy that did the R&R may have just tuckeed it somwhere of cut it or lord only knows what else. For this reason, please be as descriptive as you can in what it looks like and where it goes (as far as you can with what you can see on your own car). Are there any distinctive markings? Lines, numbers, color stripes? Thanks for bailing me out guys, if I put it al back together $400 later and the thing still runs like crap, I am likely to be looking for a new place to put my toolbox. Thank you very much in advance for any help you are able to offer!!!

Only 2 connections on the EGR solenoid, the other one looks like a connection but it vents to atmosphere.
