Engine: 283, 2.5,3.8 turbo 350
Transmission: powerglide,auto overdrive, th350,4L80

yeah, its just what GM called the 3800 motor when they first came out with the plastic intakes on them in like 89 or 90. No affiliation with the V8 cars though.

Ah i see i was just at the junk yard today and this just jumped out at me when i saw it so i snapped a pic of it....
