Strong fuel smell
my 89 IROC-Z began to leak fuel and i found that it was a line that went from the rear-driver side of the plenum to the fuel pressure regulator...now since there are two lines leading out from the plenum i kinda got comfused and dont know exactly where the lines should go....one goes from the rear of the plenum to the fuel pressure regulator that is connected to the fuel rail below the plenum and the other one goes from the plenum to..i guess...some fuel line that is next to it...now after i hooked this up..(i think i did it correctly) i turned the car on and the car let out a strong..really strong..fuel smell and the exhaust shot out really bad fumes that left some bad exhaust markings on my moms house since the car was backed up near our home...so there are two black markings of a dual exhaust outlet on her home...so help as to what the problem can be and as to how the two vacuum lines go hooked up and wether anyone has a diagram of the fuel lines and where they go and stuff....the vacuum lines that i am talking about can be found on Haynes Repair Manual (Camaro 1982-1992, {no $#!+ i know}) page 4B-12....thanks....
