i guess you can all get mad at me. 2.03 here in Japan though AAFES. we don't pay any tax's on our gas and AAFES buy's in bulk so when they buy it that the price til they run out then the prices change. btw 91 octane.

I just paid $1.42 a litre in Windsor Ontario Canada. Just under 4 litres to a gallon so thats $5.68 a gallon. I live 5 minutes from Detroit where its $3.00 a gallon! So the obvious question is why not go over there and get it. The ****** f'ers charge $4.25 EACH WAY to cross the bridge and back! Communist's!

Holding steady at 2.99 for 87 here in NW IN.

Hit IL today and rpcies seem about 20-30 cents higher when you hit the border into it from IN

later

The problem with our Great country Canada, is all the damn taxes that we pay through the roof. Some people say that because we have free health care, that our taxes our higher than the states. But that is BS, because the Gas taxes are supposted to go to Highways, construction, and maintanince. Last I looked in this country we have some of the worst highways in North America. Nothing But a bunch of thiefs.

I have a friend in the coast guard that got activated a deployed last weekend, and from what he says, all the MAJOR pipelines are operational. He said there was only disabling damage to one "Platform," and all others were 80% or more operational, just not running - and for no apparent reason either. The only reason he could think of was so that the oil companies could have their $3/gallon labor day weekend, and that they would probably ride it out as long as they could to make as much as they could before someone steps in to get everything running again. However, local delivery was a problem I guess - both because the owners don't want to get thigns rolling again, and... no trucks. On top of it, I guess the port is still shut down, but once again - no idea why.

The consumer ... Figuring in inflation, price has risen over the "Fuel crisis" price of 1982... it has dropped below that since, but it's still damn close. Within 4-8 weeks we will see large scale economy stall (worse than it is now) unless something is done within 2-3 weeks. Since Katrina, most shippers are operating below the red line from what I understand. Corporate truckers might be okay for a little longer, but the independant truckers are being driven right out of house and home by this.

I know a few moving companies hit hard by this. As far as why the pumps work but nothing is moving. Someone hasnt fixed the refineries yet. That is why that jackalope Bush's idea of flodding national reserves of oil didnt abate this. The oil is there, but turning it into gas is the hold up.
As for economic stagnation, my manager is now driving his wife's accord to work instead of his hummer * *
The bird isn't getting retired untill jack frost make this place a winter wonderland. And then it may make some special apperances

I live so close to work and my daily driver runs pretty long on a tank, I don't think I really notice much just lots of people flipping out and selling stuff .... man do people panic (I guess thats what they get for living beyond there means) now there stuck with a full size truck payment and no cash for gas and they blame bush
