Mods?
Heres my question. Right now my car is completly stock. I ran at the track 15.4 at 88, I was wondering if I added headers, a new exhaust, and a chip, what would this do for my time, and trap speed.
Thanks for the help

depending on what brand you get, id say anywhere from 14.9's to 15.2's,but high 14's is asking for a lot
the mods are definatly worth the time and money
90 to 91.5 MPH

Do you have a 350 TPI car? If so, you should be running faster than 15.4@88 to begin with - you should be in the 14s. Optimally, with the car in tune, a good launch, and the mods you listed, you should be in the 14.4-14.8 range at 93-96mph.

Flowmaster 3" 2 chamber catback
Trans Go shiftkit

supposed 'peanut cammed' car (yeah, right)

I do have a 350 tpi and I ran a 15.4. The car has 106000 miles on it. I got a pretty good launch I thought. I am going to do a tune up soon. Also my car if you have it to the floor during accelearation the car redlines for aobut 2 seconds and then shifts to the next gear, I have to let off the gas to make it shift at the track. I just want to make my car faster. Also what is the top speed for a 350 GTA. I was following a 65 vette stingray with a built 350 and I got to about 114 and my car was about redlining. I was wondering if maybe my car was stuck in 3rd because I heard that the GTA's could do any where between 135 to 150.

All my mods and times are in the sig, but with the 700r4 not the 5 speed and 20,000 miles on the car. BTW are cars don't shift into overdrive at full throttle.

dont feel bad about that run, i don't care what anybody says, iv never seen a STOCK 350 tpi (f-body)run high 14's.
trust me plenty have been mad(confused) when they see my mid 14 dial-in and i tell them its a 305, iv seen one run 15.2, another 15.4
and a 15.1
i had that tranny problem just before i lost overdrive, after six weeks of tearing it apart and putting it back together, it was some seloniod on the valve body, it was real cheap and easy to fix, the old one had a small crack in it
