LS1 Lifters in a L98?

I've been told by a few people that you can simply install LS1 lifters into a L98 motor, without a chip burn, and it'll give you instant HP gains.

So I guess my question is, has anyone else ever heard or done this before? What brand of lifters did you buy and from where? PT#?

Any help or advice would be welcome!

Far as I know the lifters are interchangable. However there is no horsepower to be gained. Now with the new Cadillac racing lifters you can rev the engine slightly higher because they are of a lighter weight. So there may be a slight hp gain with those depending on your engine combo. With a stock TPI motor I doubt you would see any gain. You would have to have a motor that reved high enough to see any benefit.
