Things to Look for

What are somethings to look for when buying a third gen camaro?

(86 Iroc z28) TPI

I have a deal being setup for a camaro that needs work with interior and slight exterior work (paint) for $600. It also needs the top end reassembled but comes with everything to do it.

What are normal rust spots, common issues ect for a first time buyer?

the best advice is walk away if it has rust,a trap door for the fuel pump, hacked up wiring, collision damage or any evedence of drunken monkeys having "worked" on it good luck

HAHA, I have all those except for the fuel pump trap door on mine, but who can complain when you only paid $1500 for an almost all original Iroc with a L98.

Depending on where you live will determine the price. I bet they are littered all over indiana. Its hard to find a rustfree camaro in illinois. I was offered $1900 for the car in its worst condition but I wanted $2300 otherwise I would keep it and fix it all up, which i did. You cant be too picky when looking for an Iroc when you are willing to pay so little.
