TCC lockup with gear changes..
does the TCC disengage when the car shifts gear? it feels like my TCC locks about a second after the car shifts into od @ around 50 - 55 mph. if i run hard through the gears (shifter in OD) it drops right in.
fluid was changed about 4000 miles ago, and is still clean and fresh smelling.

never mind, sussed, it..
TCC wont lock while accellerating right? so the converter is stalling going through the gears, then when crusing the TCC locks and the PRM drop to about 1600
almost feels like its a 5 speed auto.. (feel three shifts 1-2 2-3 3-4) and then lockup in 4th (feels almost like another shift)

You got it. You can also rig up a manual switch in the ecm harness to engage it when you want. Or short a pin on the aldl to lock it for better performance in the 1/4. Harder on parts so dont drive around like that, but it does show gains.

i have an LG4, so 1/4 mile performance aint a priority, LOL
(they aint slow, maybe not mega quick, but not as bad as people say, wastes 75% of cars on the road over here..)
to be honest, a smooth drive is more important to me, i take the car over to france on occasion, and it might be going to Sweden next year..
