Silly question about rearends...
As strange as that topic sounded.....
When my uncle and I lifted the camaro onto the lift, I nonchalantly spun one of the rear wheels, and noted that the other wheel turned the same way...
What does that mean?
I ask, because I had always heard that with normal rears, the wheels turn the opposite way, and with some type of positive traction, or limited slip, the opposite wheel turns the same direction.
Educate me?
Thanks!

With an open diff, one wheel will spin forward while the other spins backwards.
This trick only works when the driveshaft isn't turning. Assuming you have an automatic tranny and it's in park.
Since both wheels turned in the same direction, it looks like you have a posi. Since the car is up in the air, pull the diff cover off to have a look. While you're at it, change all the fluids.
