What are the wires going to the 200c?

Engine: 305
Transmission: i believe 200c
Axle/Gears: 3.43 Posi
What are the wires going to the 200c?
I am replacing my 200-c transmission with a built th-350. When i pulled the 200-c there are 2 wires going into a connector and attached to the 200-c. What is it? Can it be disconnected?
