what would cause my tranny to shift WAY late outta 1st? my 1-2 shift it way late and hard, but im not worried about the frimness ii just dont no why it done wanna shift outta 1st. its like 7000 RPMs when it shift. but my other shifts are good

Sounds like your tv cable might not be hooked up. Have you checked that? I had the same thing when I bought my IROC. I lifted the hood and found the tv cable just hanging there.

well ive adjusted it every way possible but nothing helps. and i also dont have overdrive

its a new TV cable, not broke or anything

I'm not a tranny expert, but it sounds like you need to have the valve body worked on. I would find a trusted tranny expert and have it repaired.
