Is this possible?
Want to eventually swap a T5 into my 700r4 equipped Z28, I had a 97 Firebird with a T5 and a 3.8l V6 I am wondering if the T5 V6 Equipped tranny will work in my car, I can get all the parts off of it and that car only had 121,000 original miles. Is the bellhousing compatible? Or will I need a t5 out of a V8 F body?

the 97 v6 t5 has the a different bellhousing bolt pattern, longer input shaft length, and is setup with reluctor style VSS which isn't quick and easy to convert to mechanical speedo drive. Anything can be made to fit anything, but the V8 T5 from a third gen is the better choice in this case.
