Chain rattle noise
Just drove my Trans am on a long road trip. Got there and now anytime I accelerate or drive it rattles loud. What should I look at?

Moving parts
Determine if it's coming from engine, trans, rear end, exhaust, or suspension; top, bottom, or middle; left or right side; etc. etc. etc.
Specifics help. "Doc, I have a pain sometimes. What is it?"

Re: Chain rattle noise
Oops haha.
Comes from the passenger rear like the back tire. I'm going to go look and see maybe an exhaust hanger is loose but it sounds like my car is dragging a chain down the road

Re: Chain rattle noise
Check the sway bar links. The bushings fall off and leave the washers rattling, sound like a chain dragging. Or did you tie a dog to the bumper and forgot him? Poor little guy probably kept up for a mile or so. Stolen from NLs vacation but that line had me rolling.
