Help identify this T5 before I buy it
Looking for help identifying a t5 transmission before I go buy it. Seller doesn't seem too up on giving the information I've asked for but the price is pretty cheap and I'd like to have a spare. So far all I know is that it is supposedly a t5 out of a V8 Camaro and that it has a short throw shifter and I received the following pictures. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Looks like one out of a 6-cyl S truck. DEFINITELY NOT out of a Camaro or Firebird (no torque arm mount), DEFINITELY NOT out of a Camaro or Firebird (shifter will require a new hole about a foot in front of the right one which will make it protrude through the radio in one of our cars); DEFINITELY NOT a "short throw shifter" (looks like a stock S truck one); altogether, DEFINITELY NOT.
The lovely photo of the case casting number is USELESS. Very pretty, but all it tells is ... the case casting. Doesn't tell about all of the things that adapt it to a particular car, except that it visibly has the Frod bolt pattern which is consistent with a 6-cyl GM application from about 93 up. DEFINITELY NOT.
Some of these scammers have real *****. Gotta hand it to em. Mine are maybe golf *****; bigger than marbles, bigger than ping-pong *****, but not quite tennis *****, not even baseballs, let alone croquet *****; but this bastitch has brass basketballs AT LEAST if s/he's willing to lie to you with that much evidence of his/her criminality in the photos.
