Wiring diagram for 200-4R for OEM operation

Need to install a 1986 200-4R transmission in my streetrod (THM350 is shot)....will have a brake pedal switch (normally closed).

Only want the factory intended shift/lock operation for a few months - until I get my manual transmission conversion parts collected.

Looking for the appropriate wiring diagram while the 200-4R is on the ground.

Thanks

Re: Wiring diagram for 200-4R for OEM operation

For Torque Converter Clutch use without any Control Module...
The THM200-4R would be wired just the same as a THM700-R4.

There are multiple ways to Operate (Apply and Release) the Torque Converter Clutch.
The TCC System is nothing more than a simple DC 12 Volt Circuit.

The TCC Solenoid in the Transmission only requires 12 Volt Positive and Ground Connections to operate.

My recommendation for a Expressway driven "Street Car", would include the following:
-Normally Open 4TH-Gear Valve-Body Pressure Switch.
-Normally Open Vacuum Switch connected to Carburetor Ported Vacuum source.
-Cruise Control Brake Pedal Switch.

Switched/ Ignition 12 Volts Positive is run through the Brake Pedal Switch...
and through the 4TH-Gear Valve-Body Pressure Switch.

Ground is run through the Vacuum Switch.

The Torque Converter Clutch will automatically Apply when the Vehicle is cruising after the Up-Shift into 4TH-Gear.
The Torque Converter Clutch will Release if any of the following occur:
-The Brake Pedal is pressed.
-The Transmission is Manually Down-Shifted into 3RD-Gear (or Lower).
-Heavy Throttle is pressed to accelerate.

Have fun!
