Selling my car questions
I need some opinions. I am thinking about selling my maro cause it will just be sitting at home next year because I'll be in college. I have about $3,000 in audio in the car so should I sell this separate or keep it in the car. Also I have Pacesetter headers so I was thinking about getting an electric smog pump to make it smog legal. Would it still pass inspection if I used an electric smog pump? Looking at my list of mods below would 6500 be asking too much? I know the car is only valued at 1800.

I think you will be hard pressed to get 6500 for it.
I would sell the audio (except the deck) seperate.
I have close to 10g in my car, I think I would be lucky to get 3 for it.

Electric Pump is NOT legal if you live in a state that has adopted California Smog Laws. (NY, NJ, etc...)
You don't really have any mods in there that are worth anything except the headers, and with it running mid 16's, it better have REALLY low milage and be in perfect condition both physically and mechanicaly, plus have a V-8 to get $6500 for it

Car: a car being parted out
Engine: blown up
Transmission: in peices
I am looking at several cars right now. Several 87-92 third gens.
None of which are V6's or TBI's, and none are above 4K. The mileage varies 90-130K.
6500 for a V6 even with that system is a pipe dream, unless you find someone very or like.
Actually I am thinking really hard about a black on black t top GTA for 3500...

Brace yourself. No offense but $6500 buys a really nice V8 Z28 or a 4th gen, or even a REALLY nice 5.0 Mustang. Get ready to sell for about $1,000, otherwise its just going to sit and sit and sit.
PS Stereo stuff is worthless the second you walk out of the store with it. You might get a couple hundred dollars for it off ebay or a pawn shop.

.
.
and if you look above, the guy originally wanted 3500. So I even got that price down 1500, which is a big deal.
I went over everything with the guy, through KBB values, what I was looking to do and what things were worth what to me.
So I will be paying 2K for a car with a 383 (granted yes I already own this) with less than 100 miles, and a fresh rebuilt trans. So I can move directly eo headers and exhaust...
