im looking to install a turbo on my 2.8 over the summer when i actually get money. and i saw kits like these on eby http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/T3-T4...QQcmdZViewItem
does anyone know if these are any good or possibly scams?

also, kinda as a secondary question. with adding new injectors and intercooler, will my stock motor be able to take boost? and how much boost can the stock motor handle(using a boost controler of course)

as far as it being a scam not its not.though the turbo they are selling isnt the one in the picture,the one in the picture is a t-70 not a t04e,

i read the sticky, and i found some of it to be a little comfusing. I get nearly all of the instalation part. IM only 17 and this is my first car, but i am very mechanically inclined and my dad and i do all of our engine work on our cars and such, including building 2 harleys and working on a third.

not tha any of that matters, lol. i guess ill go read again for the boost capabilities?

oh, and is the turbo that they are selling any good?

its the same turbo i run, but anyways on a bone stock motor u could run like 12 psi if ur tune is perfect.but 7-9 is the safe max for most ppl.

ok, cool. and by tune im assuming you mean boost timing(spark retarding?) and stuff like that
