big problem

I have an 87 firebird 2.8 auto now im switching to carburation and the 1980 citation distributor will not sit down all the way like an inch from seating properly because of the egr mount on the 1984 s10 intake manifold. Any suggestions?

Re: big problem

Yeah, going carb has one big problem: the carb!

Why not an S10 dizzy? Or a carb 2.8 fbody intake manifold?

Re: big problem

Get an S-10 or F-body dizzy. The FWD dizzy won't fit the RWD intake.
