Tires for Autocross?
Does anyone know a good DOT racing tire in 245/50/16? I've done some searching online and cant seem to find any. I want to keep my stock wheels. Thanks for any replies.

Re: Tires for Autocross?
You can get Hoosier A6's and Nitto NT01's in sizes that fit the stock 16 inch wheels. The A6 is an autox tire. The NT01 is a road course tire. I haven't tried the A6 yet but the NT01 has done fairly well on our GTA at the local SCCA events. We're closing on 100 runs with them and it's getting close to time to replace them now. The A6 is not DOT (I believe). The Nitto is but I don't recommend driving on them to and from the event unless you have to to make them last as long as possible.
