Tire Rotation

I'm getting ready to have Discount Tire rotate and balance my tires (I bought them 5,000 miles ago). But as much as I like my stock rims, you can't do a normal rotation because of the different rim depths. Discount Tire says a side - side rotation is good enough, especially since I put so few miles on my tires. BTW, my tires are asymmetrical (read: not unidirectional), so a side - side rotation would work. Any thoughts on this?

Re: Tire Rotation

Side to side is pointless. The rear tires are still going to wear out faster and swapping the fronts side to side can make the car pull. Save your money and if it's that important just do a tire swap front to rear when it gets noticeable.

Re: Tire Rotation

try to get your hands on 2 more fronts.
I purchased 2 used ones after looking for over 1.5 years. ill be refinishing them and running 4 fronts. it gives the car a cool stance and the deep dish in the rear looks better and ill be able to rotate them when ever I need. its an investment.
