Moser 9" drum rear with 4th gen wheels
I picked up a 3rd gen spec Moser 9", it was stupid to pass up the deal but it's setup with drum brakes, my iroc is a factory disc car. Not too concerned with getting a drum prop valve so the brakes function correctly but my concern is wheels. I have 4th gen spec Miglia's with skulte 2" adapters and have had no problems for years but now with a drum rear, there is no hub exposed for extra strength/compression of the adapter. The studs on the Moser are a little over 2" long and thicker than stock, not sure their specs exactly. My thought is maybe 1/2" spacer but not sure how dumb that's going to look, if the wheel will even fit like that at all. Any similar experience?
I'll see what I'm working with when I actually do the swap, I'm just trying to get an idea and a game plan before I start.
