LED Tail Lights?
LED Tail Lights?
Does anyone know where to find LED tail lights that are a drop in replacement for the incandescent bulbs? I found LEDtronics.com at $48.50 per bulb, drop in replacement, but I would like to replace all of the exterior bulbs with LED's and that adds up to $600!!! There must be a better price somewhere!
Thanks...

One thing with these LED replacements; don't you need to use a "special" flasher to keep the turn signals from flashing real fast, a-la rice cookers?

I didn't think so. Maybe they(the *****) use a hazard flasher instead of a regular flasher. (They will fit BTW, there the same pin out. If anyone wants a faster blinky, just swap out the flasher with a hazard flasher).
The only thing I can't think of with using LED's in the rear is the amp draw. I don't know if it's more or less, but you might need to up the fuse. The wires back there should handle it, they look like there 16ga or so.
Also LED's are very very focus, and don't put out a good glow like a good oh 1157. There kind of like a lasar beam. But it does hurt to maybe try one out ?
