automatic shift *****??

when I am racing I shift my camaro manuely but it is pretty tricky not to skip a gear because my shift **** is shaped like a ball. does anyone make a shift **** for an automatic that will work on my 86 camaro??
besides changing over to a ratchet shifter

You can find twist shift **** at a lot of different places that sell car parts. I don't know if thats what you want but they are much easier to use than the stock ball ones. All you have to do is twist the handle and shift it into gear.

I have never heard of a twist shift **** before or ever seen one ever have any idea of where I could get a picture of one or a place to buy it. all the autoparts stores I have been to don't have anything like that

man, id just got to a B&M megashifter. I absolutly love mine. makes it sooo easy to manually shift and it looks totally bad a$$. I got mine for like $160 something at a local speed shop and you can put it in in about 2 hours of good work. Highly recommend it. If you just want a new **** though, check out Next Generation, they have a bunch of *****.

Anyone have any pics of a Megashifter installed? I've had my eye on getting one for awhile, looks like a badass looking rig...
