MSD-6AL performance?

Is it worth it? What gains/improvments will i see? Thanks, Doug

Better throttle response and maybe idle and maybe gas mileage. No hp/tq increse.

Besides what 91bird305 listed, the 6AL also has a built-in rev limiter. I am running a 6A, but planning on a 6AL upgrade. As far as performance...I changed too many things at once to tell if a specific benefit was gained.

definately better throttle response. I've had to drive my car on the highway one way with the MSD and the other without the MSD, and I noticed an improvement in throttle response.

As for gas mileage, I noticed an extra 25km to the tank. Yes, I live in Canada where the Metric system is in effect.

Mine starts much quicker when the engine is warm than before the MSD.

I'll second that.....good throttle responce and MUCH better high RMP power
