i recently ordered the flowmaster amer. thunder kit
it came and the muffler that came with it had "30 series" written on the box,,i thought this was the wrong muffler so i called jegs the place i got it from and their tech guy said that the 30 series muffler is what come with the american thunder kit?????
is this true it seems to be pretty mellow sounding for an american thunder muffler cause i've heard them on other cars and they sound much more aggresive,,thanks

I dont know what series of muffler is on it. Mine also sounded mellow at first. Dont worry because as you put the miles on it becomes a lot louder.

The all 3in" dual tailpipe system comes with a 50 Series, and they do get louder.

I bought the same system, i think thats right. I didn't like the single out sound so i bought the 80 series. Now i am looking for the muffler that comes on the Am. Thun. Z28 kit, its 3" in, dual opp. 3" out... but no one sells it seperatly and Flowmaster won't either!
