IAC adjustment and the test drive...?
I have adjusted the IAC according to the instructions found on this site and Chevy Thunder. Both mention driving the car for approximately 20 minutes after adjustment so the car can "learn."
Is that a must and will I not get the results I hope for if I don't drive it afterward? I have not been able to drive the car yet as I am still working on it.

You will need to drive the car for around 20 minutes. It gives the computer to reset. Letting it sit in the garage or driveway wont cut it. Also, the setting procedure should be done when the car is up to operating temperature.

So this could explain why my idle is still hunting? What kind of driving should I do? Cruising or lots of stop and go??

I normally go out and drive around forty then up to cruising 55 then come back down. Do some stop and go after that. Then head to the house. Seems to work.
