need help from expert wheel guru's
Ok here's my question,
I want to put tourque thrust II's on my 91 Z28, i want to put the 17x9's on the car, but as i understand i will need spacers for the front and only the front. I went to skulte.com and saw that he sells spacers, what spacers would i need for the front ?Also i am worried about spacers, is that a bad way to go, will i have problems with spacers?
Secondly i am confused about offsets and backspacing, i shouldnt need any of that information when i buy the wheels right, i mean do i have to specify a certain offset in conjunction with the spacers, or do i just order the wheels in 17x9 size and they should bolt on correctly ?

There is an article in oct 99 issue of CHP that show an 91Z with those wheels (size 17X9.5) and they used 5.5" backspacing with 275/40R-17 tires at the front and the back with no rubbing. And the car was lowered 1".But I don't know what offset the wheels had.

Call American racing at 1-800959-1969 and tell them what you are wanting to do. They only make torq thrust II in 9.5 and 8 the guy is not measuring the rim correctly, do not put the spacers on. You can put the 9.5s in the rear and the eights in the front with no problem.
