What the?

Maybe someone can help me out here? First off while I'm building up the rear end of my camaro this winter I want to add some tinny bolt ons before the rebuild of the engine. I want to get one of those dual cold air kits from slp. But I saw something wierd on their site. Its a Canister Wire Harness #21017. Do I need this thing?
If someone sheds some light on this for me I'm willing you tell them how to actually load up pages on SLP's crappy web page.

I would beleave it is for the purge canister because you will most likely have to relocate it. And if you are using the dual intake form SLP you will also have to relocate the battery.

You can buy the kit from them or just buy the airbox like I did and improvise the rest. I relocated the canister on the other side (i only did the single inlet) and used wire with butt splicers ( I love saying that) to lengthen it. Just buy a few feet of the two different rubber tubing as well. Just take off the ones on there and take it to the auto parts store and say give me some if this stuff. I used the stock plastic air tube betweent he throttel body boot and the air box. It was a very tight fit getting it onto the air box fllange since it was almost the same size, but it does have slots in the plastic that allow it to expand, the rubber gasket seals it. To change the filter just take off the whole top of the air box and don't disconnet the air tube. To me this looks a whole lot better than the homeade ones, and probably works better too. doing it this way the whole thing only cost,,, seems like 80 $ or so.
