I recently bought a new fiberglass cowl hood, and it has a hole for a tachometer already in it. At first I was just gonna fiberglass over it but then I figured, what the heck? I'll use it. If anyone knows where I can get around a 2 5/8 inch (i can make the hole bigger or smaller if necessary) tach that can be used outside the car I would be really appreciative. I've already searched summit and jegs without luck.

pep boys carries cheaper brands of tachs also.. not sure on what sizes though

 

i didnt know pep boys has them. are you sure that all of the stores do, because ive never seen them in the one nearest me.
