With a TBI, the options are a little more complex, as you could swap it out for a carb setup, or you could go the other way with multi-port fuel injection. An intake as well as a new throttle body/carb is an excellent place to start, as it allows you to rid your car of unwanted smog equipment (if you plan on keeping the motor, and don't have to pass emmissions). Another place to look into is the exaust, possably a new cat-back or some headers, depending on what you want to do. I wouldn't suggest a cam right off until you know what direction your motor is going, as then you can purchase a cam that suits your needs and matches whatever mods you have already made. Hope this helps,

Dude, don't go carb just yet. You have plenty of options with TBI. But first you need to set goals. If you want a 400 hp monster then do what 383 backinblack did and swap engines. But if you want a reliable engine and are working on a budget, stick with the L03 for now. A two-barrel TBI can support at least 320 hp as dyno proven. Anyways, on to mods and in this order:
Open element K&N or custom ram air, ultimate TBI mods, FULL exhaust i.e. headers y-pipe and 3" cat back, posi 3.42 or 3.73 gears, cam and intake, custom prom. Of course a good tune up is always recommended, and for $40, an MSD Dual Connector coil can be had.
Exhaust will be most expensive, but the stock L03 exhaust is super restrictive. If you have the money, I suggest getting the headers coated. The Ultimate TBI mods are free, and can be found in the technical articles on this page. SLP sells a Z-28 take-off posi for $99 and it works great. Gears are somewhat pricey but probably the biggest gain to be felt other than nitrous. You can find LT1 cams for about $50 shipped, and they work great in L03s. The edelbrock TBI manifold is a direct bolt on and easiest to install, but a carb intake w/ TBI adapter plate will usually yield better results. http://www.tbichips.com is a great place to have a custom prom burned, and very inexpensive. He is also very communative and helpful. Oh yeah, if you have an auto tranny, newer S-10 torque converters supposedly make for about a 2,000 rpm stall-a nice gain over stock as well.
Do a search on the TBI board if you have questions on ony of these mods.
