Mallory vs MSD

I have a mallory unilite that at about 1,000 miles the advance took a dump on me. I was thinking about getting a MSD distributor. How is the quality of it?

Thanks
John

I'd think it was a fluke, first of all. Don't go out and buy a whole new distributor if it can be repaired. mallory vs msd.. hmm, i think its just a matter of preference. of course, some poeple will swear mallory is the worst company in the world, and msd is the best, and others will say the opposite. your pick. me? i'd redo yours

Thanks,
I will most likely get the mallory fixed, but they are on strike three and if it breaks again, I will try the MSD.
