ET Streets vs. BFG Drag Radials vs. Nittos

I am trying to decide what to get. I currently run 2.2 60 footers. I am looking for something to help lower the 60 foot and improve consistancy at the track for bracket racing.

If I get ET Streeets, they'd go on a recond set of rims. If I get Nittos, they'd be my everyday tire. BFG DR's...???

I drive the car quite a lot daily, and I don't know if the Nitto's would last all that long. I'll likely put on 10-12,000 miles by the end of next year.

My first priority is hooking up at the track, will Nitto's do that as well (or close to as well) as ETs?

The ET Street will hold a bunch more power then either drag radial option. The BFG will hook better but last longer then the Nitto. The Nitto will last longer on the street but never last as long as a regular tire. With both drag radial options you are giving up handling performance. I suggest you go with ET streets on seperate rims. They will hook the best and only be subject to track mileage Vs. track and street mileage. The ET street will also provide for greater consistency at the track.

The ET Streets will hook up a lot better, but will cost your around 1-2 mph at the trap. Nitto's hook on the street pretty well but you have to really really really warm them up first, otherwise they won't hook with a powerful engine. BF Goodrich's hook real well on the street but just don't last as long.
