From what I've heard ..yes. They are way too expensive though considering it only takes a few bucks to make one. If you have several mods done to your car expect to pay around $450.

Another option, Performance Resource (http://www.performanceresource.com)
I have seen cold hard data on PR and it was impressive.

They'll burn you a custom one for $400.

i've actually heard bad things about them. I would first go to Ed Wright (did not hear too great of things either) but at least he has full throttle programming and a 30 day guarrantee, so if you dont like it, send it back. Who else does that? no one i know of.

ive heard bad things about TPIS proms. Plus they are expensive to boot.

I personally would not buy one from them.

Avoid TPIS at all costs. They advertised a Banks cat back for a 4 bolt converter then when I received it there was no 4 bolt flange and the wrong intermediate pipe. So the best they will do is send me a flared pipe, still with no flange. I will have to have that welded on they say. And they made me pay shipping to send it back to them. Sorry so long, had to vent. Go with Ed Wright, I am very pleased with my Stage 2 chip and he knows the meaning of customer service.

TPIS chips are definitely worth it. With my rebuilt, modified motor, I dropped .7 from the chip alone. But like others said, it is worth it only as your last mod to compliment everything else, and it will cost you $$$.
