BeCool rad. in Camaro/'Bird, fitment? pic?

Was wondering how easily installed a BeCool radiator is in our cars. Their website talks about some modifications that need to be done. Has anyone run into this? Can you still use the stock upper mounting plate? Does anyone have a pic of theirs installed? Any help appreciated!

Thanks,
Brian

Mine slid right in with no modifications at all. Sorry I don't have a good pic of it though.

Griffin, Afco radiators are easily availible for under 200. Just go pick up Circle Track magazine. Look in some of the advertisments.

Back from the dead!!

I just installed a 60015 BeCool alum 2 core (1 inch cores) in my 82 Z-28.
I had to change was the location of the rubber supports below the rad. Pass side moved abt 1/2 inch outboard. Drivers side had to move abt 2 inches outboard.

For the top I used the alum sheet metal extender piece that was supplied.

Had to cut off abt 1 inch of the lower rad hose where it attaches to the rad so hose could turn before hitting frame.

Also had to shave a little off the "wonder bar" to clear the drivers' side fan mount and had to shim the fans back a little to clear the radiator.

As for performance; I WAS running 220-230 degs with A/C on and stuck in traffic on 100 degs days. Usually had to shut off A/C untill I was back up to highway speed.
Now; the hottest I've seen is 203 degs and that was with the drivers side fan not coming on untill 200 degs. With both fans running, never goes over 200 degs. I'm happy!!
