Has any1 heard of this company? They make rods and a few other engine components. They have a set of 6" H-Beam rods 4 $400 at www.herbertperformance.com that I was thinking of getting, but I haven't heard of this company before.

 

probley some made in taiwan units, i would save the extra few $$$ and get some eagles.

 

I just checked out the website in question. I want to thank you for directing me to the checked out site! From just briefly glancing around, I would say that 'Doud Herbert' wouldn't have a poor quality engine component in his product inventory. I could be wrong, but I would contact them and they should be able to provide the info you on the manufac's rep. Way cool site, they even have Magnetos.

 

Yeah, Doug Herbert has a lot of stuff. U should order there catalog! A lot more than the website. When I'm ready 2 get a set of rods I'll call D Herbert and ask about the Pro Techs. I just wanted 2 know about them before hand. I did a search on the web but nothing came up.
