KYB AGX Struts and Shocks
KYB AGX Struts and Shocks
It's time for strut and shock replacement on my 90 GTA. I drive the car mostly in the city and on the highway and am looking for a comfortable ride. I do however, enjoy jumping on a mustang every once in a while. I have dropped front spindles with original WS6 springs and eibach 1 inch springs in the rear. Would like to hear from anyone using the KYB AGX as these are considerably cheaper than other choices. I am also considering Tokico Illumina and Koni reds and would welcome any thoughts on any of these three.

I've have AGX's front and rear.
I been happy. The price was right.
On a stock sprung V-8 car very good.
I have springs that have a 35% higer spring rate up front and 40% in the rear (ride height -1.5"). Got the AGX's the full 3 clicks up front and run 6-7 clicks on the rear, wish the rears had rebound adjustment (if they did: would like 4 clicks of compression and increase the rebound)I run 6-7 (dry road) to increase the rebound. Fully adj. dampers are expensive. Our race car Penski's are about 800 ea.
