Struts

I just found out that i need a front Strut on the Drivers side.
I probably going to replace them both though.
Any advice on which brand to buy?

Thanks
Ringo

I put on Monroe Sensa-Trac and I've been very happy with them, I recommend them.

depends on budget......monroe are alright though for the price. bilstein are the best in my opinion but i don't like how koni's ride. kyb are alright for about 1,000 miles and then they aren't so hot. i used gabriels for awhile when i was really on a budget at $20 some a piece they were great for the price.

I checked at Autozone for Struts. They have two brands:
Gas-Ryder $28.99
Bilstein $199.99

Now the difference in price seems incrediable. How can there be that much of a difference.

I hate to sound so naive. Can someone explain this to me?

Thanks

The gas-ryders are just a generic oil filled strut made to work on different vehicles. The bilsteins are going to be a nitrogen charged strut with higher quality internals and made for your vehicle.

I still think the Monroes are the best bang for the buck unless you autocross or drag race on a regular basis.

Thanks 89Warbird

I 'm going to take your advice. $200.00 is to much but I still want a decent ride.
