I've heard very little about the Wells MAF. I saw an article in a mag a year or so ago that said Granatelli was going to start making a larger diameter one for our cars, but have only seen their LT1 and LS1 MAF's for sale. What part of Ohio are you from?

World Discount Auto Parts sells the Wells MAF. If you post a question in the TPI forum, Vader can probably answer any questions you have about this part. This MAF uses a sturdier(than heated wire) thin film sensing element, is supposed to flow around 750 cfm, doesn't need a PROM recalibration(if I remember correctly) and only costs $165.00.

From what I've heard about the Granatelli MAF, they will only sell it if they can perform the PROM calibrations this unit requires. Kind of inconvenient if you don't live within driving range. This policy may have changed(or they may be considering changing it), so you might want to contact them.

From what I've been able to find out, everyone else who sells hi-flow MAFs for our cars, is in fact just remanufacturing the Bosch units.

If your present MAF is in really good shape(get a lupe to check the heated wire for any sign of corrosion) TPiS will port it to a claimed 750 cfm of flow, for $45.00.
