Strut Tower Brace

I've been looking at strut tower braces from Jegs & Summit.
I was wondering if, in order to install them, you have to drill holes? Or does it use pre-existing holes? I also worry about it clearing my hood. Is this a problem?

Any info would be appreciated.
Thank you.

You have to drill the mounting holes. My Hotchkis STB required it, no big deal.

just about all the strut tower braces out there require drilling... hotchkis, bmr, edelbrock, and so on. To my knowledge, there is one 2 point strut tower brace that bolts up to existing strut tower holes, and thats the MAC bar... I ordered one for my dad's 91 t/a from LM performance about a month ago; I got an email a couple of weeks ago saying that they were on back order and I havent heard from them since..

ok. Thanks for the info everyone! It sounds like it isn't too bad to install, so I'll probably pick one up soon.
Thanks again.
