Is any body making large MAF sensors for our cars? When updating your air induction system this is the most restrictive point. Is there any way to overcome this other than going to speed density?

 

The stock unit flows 529 cfm
The one at thunder racing is suppose to flow 30% more so that would put you right around 687.7cfm

There is another one at tpis.com that flows at 730 cfm But there has been some information going around that descreening the maf's can cause the maf to act a little strange. So, why pay 444.99 for something that might not work corrrectly. But i'm sure that some people have bought it and havn't had any trouble with it. They can Modify your maf for $45.

Do a search on Wells MAF sensor--unless a bigger beter one has come out that I am not aware, of they are upposed to flow more than any out there.


From what I have read and been told, even the biggest, baddest, MAF system will never be as good as a speed density system. Again do a search for the SD systems and read up especially on the TPI tech board.
