Axle/Gears: 2.73 :(
New Distributor Help??

Is an MSD distributor worth the extra money or no? also do u need to get a new iginition as well cause i have been told you do.

You will, of course, hear some to the contrary. But I am a believer in using a new GM one. If you do a search you will see other people recommend a new GM one, too.

if you are talking about the factory replacement one for tbi or tpi i say go msd. i have one on a tbi and its great quality stuff.

If the motor is stock/mild upgrades leave the distributor as it sits.
But, I would put a MSD cap and rotor button on it as well as the MSD coil & wires.

You dont need a box. Well IF you get the probillet MDS HEI you wont. Thats what I have on my 383
