well i might as well start from the begining, a few MONTHS ago i ordered a set of speedspecialtys 3rd gen rear seat delete boxes. after 3-4 weeks (as expected) i recieved the delivery of a set of TAN delete boxes for my GREY interior. sent a few e-mails finally got a few responces and they ended up sending me the PRECUT grey carpet peices so that i could re-cover the boxes, (they were not precut just sheets of carpet material). Ok thats fine they are willing to work with me with this. so anyway i take the TAN covering off and find some pretty shotty worksmanship. it looks like the guy who made the boxes only tools were a hammer, a crappy jigsaw and a screwdriver . all of the cuts were waivy and the holes were crap. he even made small aluminum re-enforcement braces for the holes, which is cool, but it lookes like he cut the holes with a screwdriver! so before i recovered these pos boxes i fit them to the car. the passengerside was ok all i needed to do was trim the edges a little to make them straight and remove some material on the outside corner where they bolt to the old seat brackets. i covered it up bolted it in and i was happy with that one...now the driverside...OMFG what a piece! aside from having to cut almost 1/4 off the whole side that sits of the driveshaft tunnel, i had to notch the hell out of the mount side and move the bolt hole an inch over to make the f-ing thing work. my god this took me all morning to put these damned things in. after all of MY quality worksmanship they fit and look good , but i am one of these people who has the belief that when i order something, shouldn't it fit the application .

so to make a long story short i was fortunate to have recieved the wrong color and forced to re-cover the boxes because i see no way on earth that there damned things could have ever fit in their stock form.

STAY AWAY FROM THE THINGS MAKE YOUR OWN!!!!! its not only cheaper, but probably faster...

my blunder your gain
