computer prom upgrade?
I could use some advice from anyone who has used an aftermarket performance prom for their ecm.My car is an 84z28 305-L69/700r4.I see that the proms are available from JET,ADS,and Hypertech.Which one is best and what type of improvement can I expect?Also,would I want the version that requires the lower temp thermostat?

I used a custom chip from super chips in florida. I liked it and thought it was great. They burn them for every 250 rpm instead of just WOT.
888 car chips is their number I believe, they do advertise in CHP magazine.

I called and they dont have a prom for 84 computer controlled q-jet cars.They said they couldnt design one that would make an improvement with that old technology.Does anyone have any first hand experience with the other companies such as JET,ADS,Hypertech,that do make proms for this car and if it was an improvement?
