Hey guys im going to get a new shift boot 'the one that mounts on the shifter plate, not on the floor' and was wondering where you guys get them for the best deal and fit. i found these guys on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/82-to...mZ200242962108
anyways i think it looks like a good deal. also have any of you bought the alluminum distributer cover for TPIs? i think that would really finsh off the engine bay. thanks alot in advance

 

If your boot (leather) is in miserable condition but it useable, you might try the following: remove it, thoroughly clean it with saddle soap, then slap on a coat of shoe polish. By the way, the seller mentions that a JY boot would be in the $20-30 range. Baloney. I've purchased them for $5 or so.

Well i havent bought the boot yet and am really looking into the cover girls http://birdsandbowties.com/interior.html its only 5 dollars more and by the looks of it all i got to do is roll in onto the mounting plate. looks like she does excellant work! anyone buy that boot from her before?
