im asking for anyone with info on cheapest cowl hood for 91 camaro

 

Hey classic welcome to the site.Not sure what the good hood manufacturers are for the thirggen cars are,but in my experiances you may want to spend a little more on a good fiberglass hood than the cheapest one you can find and here's why.

If you find one from an inferior company the body shop's going to get your hood and not be to happy. We've had more hoods in our auto body shop that had more waves than the Atlantic Ocean.

What will happen is that the body guy will need to add so much filler into it to try to straighten it out,it will make the hood heavy and you will be paying him extra money in labor to fix an inferior part in the first place.I've had hoods come in that were so bad we wouldn't touch them.

Just some things to think about.I've been there a million times.

 

by far the best is a cervinis hood and they run 539 dollars
