Header Panel from eBay
I purchased the following header panel from carpartswholesale on ebay. $30.50 shipped- and shipped fast!!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWNX%3AIT
Overall, it was a good piece- seemed at least as tuff/sturdy as the 21 year old OEM piece, the bolt holes all lined up, and it was well packed.
The only things that could be considered an issue were that the bolt holes where the nose attaches weren't as 'cleanly' drilled as the OEM, and the studs needed to have a 6mmx1 die ran down them to clean off some plastic 'flashing' from the manufacturing process. The studs were well covered with rubber hose.
Easy install too- remove all the brackets from the header panel, and all but the bottom fender/nose bolts so you can shoehorn the old out and new in.
Overall, I'd say if you need a new header panel and have a spare hour or 2, this is the part for you!
